Bloemencorso Zundert is the world’s largest flower sculpture parade and festival, and it’s made up entirely of volunteers. The festival takes place once every year on the first Sunday of September in a town in the Netherlands. 20 different hamlets, each consisting of hundreds of builders, work on building gigantic flower sculpture floats.
And it’s not just for fun. There are independent judges who work to determine the best float for each year’s parade and crown the winning hamlet.
